Environments and products - Objective domain 5

The objective domain Healthy and safe environments and products is fairly broad and covers widely different types of environments and exposure situations.

Symbol mål 5

To be able to concretise work on finding appropriate determinants and indicators for this objective area, a number of sub-areas have been identified. These sub-areas are:

  • Sound external environment/air quality
  • Sound products
  • Sound indoor and local environment (including noise)
  • Safe environments and products – the injury perspective.

The first three sub-areas are very much in line with the Swedish Government's environmental target strategies. The fourth sub-area aims to create safety based on an injury perspective in various types of settings such as traffic, work, home, school and leisure environments.
