Diseases and other disorders

Among the most commonly occurring diseases are diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma and allergies, as well as disorders such as eczema, tinnitus, incontinence, gastrointestinal disorders and problems of overweight and obesity.

Since there are difficulties in monitoring symptoms of these diseases through databases, they are included in the survey. Some diseases are dominant causes of death and others are rarely fatal, but entail a large scale consumption of medicines and/or care, and affect the individual’s life situation.
