Motor organ disorders

The motor organs comprise a collective term for the skeleton, muscles, tendons and ligaments and are often reported from the neck, shoulders, back, hips or knees.

Diseases and disorders of the motor organs are the most common causes of pain, diminished capacity to work, long-term sickness absenteeism and sickness and activity benefits in Sweden. The perception of pain is individual and similar disorders can be perceived entirely differently by the affected individual.
