Promotion of mental health and well-being of children and young people – Making it happen

On 29-30 September a conference about the EU's efforts to prevent mental illness among young people took place in Stockholm. The conference was the first of five, with different themes, to promote the pact between EU member states on the work on mental health.

At the EU Commission's website you can find programs, lists of participants, background papers and copies of the presentations that were shown during the conference.

A first draft of the final documentation from the conference is now available. It contains a summary of the various presentations and discussions held during the conference, as well as conclusions about the top priorities in the case of mental health among children and young people according to the conference participants.
