Knowledge base for the Public Health Policy Report 2010

This report provides a knowledge base for the Public Health Policy Report 2010: Public health of the future – everyone’s responsibility.

The objective of the report is to describe public health work at the regional and local levels based on the following themes: organisation and roles, prioritisations of the operations, cooperation with other actors and development and resource needs. The results are based on interviews and surveys of county councils and regions, county administrative boards, municipalities and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) at various times during 2009–2010. The questionnaire surveys and documentation for the interviews are presented in appendices.

The entire summary is provided to the right, where you can find the main results that were also used as a basis for some of the proposed measures presented in the Public Health Policy Report 2010.
